Dubai may be a futuristic city, but a desert adventure is a must. I embarked on a thrilling across the golden dunes, the sun beating down on my face and the wind whipping through my hair. I went to the surreal Terra Solis, 36 km from the Palm. A magical oasis, away from all the noise where for a few hours, I lived to the rhythm of the sun and isolated to recharge. Not everyone will get this.

Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping malls, called my name. From luxury designer stores to sprawling aquariums teeming with exotic marine life, it was a shopper's paradise and a surreal wonder.
